Three Draw Lacquer box by SHIBATA ZESHIN decorated with simulated tsuba and kozuka. Lacquer box unsigned.
The interior of black lacquer, the handle and draw pulls finished in silver. The simulated sword fittings are decorated with a variety of popular subjects. Zeshin produced his art during the Meiji period some motifs are signed and some unsigned.
